St. Monica English Medium School conducted an Anti-Drug Awareness Program to educate students about the dangers of drug abuse and the importance of a healthy, drug-free life. The session was held in the school auditorium and was attended by the Manager, Principal, Vice Principal, and students from classes 7 to 9, totaling nearly 100 students.
The session was conducted by Mr. Janardhana N, Civil Excise Officer, Excise Range Office, Badiadka, who provided valuable insights on the harmful effects of drug abuse, its impact on physical and mental health, and the legal consequences associated with drug-related offenses. He emphasized the importance of making informed choices, resisting peer pressure, and seeking help when needed.
The session was highly interactive, with students actively participating by asking questions and sharing their thoughts. Mr. Janardhana also discussed real-life case studies to highlight the devastating effects of substance abuse.
The Principal expressed gratitude to the resource person for his informative and engaging session. The program successfully raised awareness among students and motivated them to stay away from drugs and lead a responsible life.
The event concluded with a pledge by students to remain drug-free and promote awareness among their peers.
