The blessing of the school building at St. Monica English Medium School, Kumbla, was held on December 23rd, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., marking a momentous occasion for the school community. The event was presided over by the Chief Guest, Bishop Emeritus Most Rev. Dr. Aloysius Paul D’Souza, who performed the solemn prayer and blessing ceremony.
The program began with a soulful prayer song by the school choir, setting a serene and reverent tone. This was followed by the presentation of intentions by the teachers and students, praying for the well-being and prosperity of the school.
The ceremony included the sprinkling of holy water by the Bishop, accompanied by Fr. Melwyn D’Souza, the school manager, and Fr.
