St. Monica English Medium School Celebrates Annual Day with Enthusiasm and Recognition

The Annual Day inaugural program at St. Monica English Medium School on November 28th, 2024, was a vibrant and memorable occasion, bringing together students, parents, faculty, and esteemed guests to celebrate the achievements of the school community.

The celebrations kicked off with the official inauguration by Thahira Yusuf, who had the honor of hoisting the school flag, marking the beginning of the event. The ceremony was graced by Mr. Vivekananda Shetty, the Guest of Honor and Ward Member, whose presence added great significance to the occasion. Distinguished guests, including Mr. Ramesh Rai, Mr. Raju Stephen Dsouza, and Ms. Leedia Dsouza, were also in attendance, contributing to the event’s success and highlighting the strong support of the school’s community.

The program began with an energetic mass drill performed by the students. This highly coordinated display of physical fitness and team spirit set a lively tone for the day’s celebrations and showcased the students’ commitment to discipline and teamwork.

Following the mass drill, the much-anticipated prize distribution ceremony took place, where students were recognized for their outstanding performances across various fields, including academics, sports, arts, and cultural activities. The recipients were awarded trophies, certificates, and medals, celebrating their hard work and excellence.

The day’s festivities continued with a delightful lunch for all attendees, fostering a sense of community and camaraderie.
