St. Monica English Medium School hosted the Fancy Dress Competition and the Science Model Competition on November 14th, 2024, providing students with an exciting opportunity to showcase their creativity and scientific skills.
The Fancy Dress Competition was held in the school’s newly inaugurated Auditorium, where students from LKG, UKG, and Classes I to IV participated. A total of 130 students took part, presenting a wide variety of imaginative costumes. The competition was judged by Br. Aron Dsouza and Mrs. Ushakirana, who were impressed by the students’ creativity and performances.
In the afternoon, the Science Model Competition took place for students from Classes V to X. Participants crafted models based on various scientific concepts, including volcanoes, water filters, the solar system, and spaceships. The competition was held in the Mini Auditorium, where students were given 60 minutes to complete their models. The judging panel, consisting of Sr. Asha, Sr. Sunitha, and Mrs. Jecintha, evaluated the models on creativity, scientific accuracy, and presentation. A total of 60 students participated in the competition, demonstrating their knowledge and hands-on skills.
Both competitions were highly successful, with students displaying exceptional talent and enthusiasm. The school congratulates all the participants and extends special congratulations to the winners for their outstanding achievements
