Shiksha Saptha Celebration at St. Monica School Kumbla

St. Monica School Kumbla celebrated Shiksha Saptha from July 23, 2024, to July 27, 2024, with great enthusiasm and zeal. The week-long celebration aimed to highlight the importance of education and raise awareness about the pivotal role of teachers in shaping young minds.

23-07-2024 – Foundation Literacy and Numeracy Day:
Various activities related to numeracy skills were conducted, with 150 students and 5 teachers participating actively.

24-07-2024 – Sports Day:
Both indoor and outdoor games were held, with 50 students and 2 teachers taking part in the exciting events.

25-07-2024 – Cultural Day:
A vibrant and diverse showcase of art, music, dance, and traditional performances from various cultures was presented. 100 students and 5 teachers participated in this colorful event.

26-07-2024 – Skilling and Digital Initiative Day:
Activities such as cooking without fire, a first-aid workshop, and a wealth-out-of-waste session were organized. 100 students and 2 teachers participated in these hands-on learning experiences.

27-07-2024 – Eco-Club Mission Life Day:
The day featured activities like cleaning the school premises, organizing and gardening, and a visit to the school garden. 120 students and 2 teachers contributed to these environmentally-conscious efforts.

28-07-2024 – Community Involvement Day:
The community involvement day focused on the PM-e VIDYA, a digital education initiative launched by the Indian government. 100 students participated in learning more about this digital platform aimed at providing quality education to school children.

The Shiksha Saptha celebration was a grand success, with active participation from students, teachers, and staff. Their enthusiasm and engagement were greatly appreciated, making the event a memorable one.
